You need a bachelor’s degree with 24 hours (I believe) of accounting classes. You need to go to college first.
In most states you will need a 5 year degree to meet the minimum requirements.
Depending on your state you must have certain requirements. Mostly you need to have taken certain courses or college degree. However there is no age restriction so best of luck to you!
are you currently in college?
even if you passed all the required education and passed the exam I doubt could become one until you are 21
Dear A: Look at Gleim products for a complete list of required subjects for CPA requirement. CPA’s are certified by the states so look up your state requirements for CPA.

A CPA certificate is the equivalent of an advanced college degree, not a Boy Scout Merit Badge. You can’t do it at 13 and are no free courses. You have many years to go before you have a shot at it.
LOL….a Bachelors degree is required, PLUS 500 hours of working under a CPA. Some states even require a year of college BEYOND a bachelors degree. There is no such thing as a free online course…those cost about$1,500. You are AT LEAST 10 years away fromm even coming close to meeting the requirements. Love the ambition, but not practical for only being 13
To be allowed to sit for the CPA exam you have to have 150 college credit hours, often that means getting a bachelors and a master degrees in accounting. It depends on a state but many times you have to be 21 years of age, to become a CPA you also need to work in accounting for a 2-3 years. To sit for the exam, once you meet all requirements costs up to $2,000, this doesn’t include a good study course such as Becker that costs around $3,500. It takes about 500 hours of pure hard core study (somewhere around 6,000 homework problems) to get ready. There are four exams that take 14 hours to take. Good luck!
