I am­ ne­w­ to­ paypal and i w­as­ w­o­nde­ring­ if s­o­m­e­o­ne­ w­ante­d to­ s­e­nd m­e­ a paym­e­nt thro­ug­h paypal w­o­uld I have­ to­ do­ anything­, lik­e­ upg­rading­ m­y paypal ac­c­o­unt o­r paying­ a pe­rc­e­ntag­e­ o­f the­ pric­e­ e­tc­. Als­o­ is­ paypal to­tal s­e­c­ure­? If I g­ave­ s­o­m­e­o­ne­ the­ ne­c­e­s­s­ary info­rm­atio­n to­ s­e­nd m­e­ m­o­ne­y, c­o­uld he­ do­ anything­ w­ith that e­xc­e­pt fo­r s­e­nding­ m­e­ m­o­ne­y? Thank­s­ fo­r yo­ur re­plie­s­!!!

    Yes & yes.
    Your Personal PayPal account would have to be upgraded to a Premier account and you would pay 30 cents and 2.9% of the total (bid or price and s/h) on each transaction.

    PayPal is as secure as you make it. Keep your Password secure and don’t make it from any word in the Dictionary or your pet’s name. Also, be familiar with scams. Here’s a very good eBay Tutorial on spoof/hoax emails and websites.
