One last thing I’d like to say. You did get your money back right? If I understand, you got it back but just barely in the nick of time.. Now you’re in debt with paypal who’s holding your amp until they get their cash. Is this correct. Can they ruin your credit rating or take you to court.? Could you take them to court?
Terry I have a question for you. Something similar happened to me. When paypal decided in your favor they released your $1200 funds which were probably frozen. Did you then quickly deposit your money into your bank account? The chargeback probably took a few days to go through so Paypal was powerless to stop the deposit. So the paypal account goes into the negative -$1200 right? They can’t legally withdraw from checking or charge your card without your permission. Is this right?
Fuck Paypal. They scammed me 32 dollars after using them for 3 years. I knew they would get me eventually.
Wow- over 2,000 comments! I thought I was the only one who hated PayPal! I quit ebay b/c of the extreme stress PPal caused me. They claimed I ordered an item I had backed out of (& did NOT order)I had to pay “fees” anyway. This was 2-3 yrs ago-but it stressed me out so bad, I never went back to ebay. B/c of them, I was gonna be dumped by ebay! It was embarrassing-I HATE PayPal! Sorry for your story-really terrible:( They’re evil.
hey bro, i feel you and i am right know having problems with PayPal…no costumer service once so ever…my situations is little different.. they put a limitation on my account …i haven’t paid them, because of a death in my family and i explained that hey this is what happen i was to depressed….so i decided to pay them..they where so nice in the beginning..because i was going to pay them..once i paid they desided not to do business with me….with no reason…
WOW!!!!!! this is a perfect example of why a “cashless society” would never work, customer is “unhappy” and “company” reimburses him with your money , cuts the “account holder” out of the whole process, very sorry to hear of your horrible experience with paypal
those schmuck mofo’s jacked me for $2,400.00… i sold stuff on ebay, had a 100% feedback rating, and paypal froze my account, leaving me with $2,400 in limbo, and then leaving me stuck with $300 in ebay fee’s which bounced, because paypal ripped me off. my advice… see paypal, run…..

They can send you a chargeback from the buyer 2 months later! Boycott paypal and ebay.
I HATE PAYPAL! It is so easy to scam the sellers. I am honest, so I do not do it, but I sold a $600 item recently and the .lady returned a box of junk and got all her money back. I am out the $600 and could give a shit about this box of junk. PAYPAL WILL RIP YOU OFF AND TAKE YOUR MONEY, HOLD YOUR FUNDS> THEY ARE A RIP OFF SCAM BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE ! ! ! ! ! !

i have experienced something the same. I sold some vintage adidas shoes to japan about $787 wich was paid to my paypal account. i went away a few weeks and discovered they had automatically refunded the amount because the customer did not receive the item. (so he claimed) At this time i had more people claiming the same, my paypal account got blocked, ebay the same, i had hundreds of positive feedback, 100% Paypal sucks
